Valentin Family Farm gives lifelong care to farm animals, special-needs animals, and hospice animals in Dover, Florida, and opens that care to our community through volunteering and education.
We began with one bulldog named Diesel. After we lost him, we turned grief into a place where animals who need more time can get it. Today our sanctuary is home to pigs, horses, sheep, goats, chickens, cats, dogs, and one tortoise, and every one of them is here for life.
Valentin Family Farm is a tax-exempt nonprofit, founded in 2024. Small-group farm programs for kids are coming soon.
Meet the Founder
Natalie Valentin, MSN, MEd, RN, is a registered nurse who spent nine years caring for mothers, babies, and families in community health. She brings that same clinical-level care to every animal at the farm, from Lola's kidney care to Captain Bob's short leg. Natalie and Nate run Valentin Family Farm together in Dover.
Our Story
Valentin Family Farm began with loss—and the decision to make something good out of it. After our bulldog, Diesel, passed and a heart-scare rerouted our lives, we turned healing into action—rescuing animals who, in turn, help rescue us.
What started with one bulldog has grown into a sanctuary where every animal gets more care, more time, and more compassion.
